Black Powder Belt - Plain Leather

Our Plain Leather Powder Belt is the finishing touch to a host of historical ensembles ranging from swashbuckling buccaneer to 19th century military solider. Crafted from 100% genuine leather, this belt is a versatile accessory that can be worn with a variety of vintage-inspired outfits.

Measuring 3 inches wide, the belt is made from two 1/8-inch thick leather sections, resulting in a sturdy 1/4-inch finished product. The durable stitching and heavy-gauge silver-tone buckle ensure the belt can withstand the rigors of daily wear. While it does not feature ammo loops, the belt can accommodate civil war powder pouches or other holsters and accessories.

Produced in Mexico by skilled craftsmen, this south-of-the-border original evokes the spirit of the 1800's Southwest. The untooled belt with top stitching adds a commanding look when worn over vintage military jackets or south-of-the-border breeches.

It is important to note that our powder belts are sized by "hip" size, not waist size. To ensure a proper fit, measure your hips about halfway between your waist and the widest part of your hip, as shown in the provided diagram. If your measurement falls between sizes, round up to the nearest even number. Do not simply select your jeans size, as this will likely result in a belt that is too small.

Each belt has a range of +/- two inches from the labeled size, so it is crucial to measure yourself accurately for the best fit.
