Men's Cotton Twill Mad Scientist Howie Lab Coat

Our Mad Scientist Lab Coat offers full-length protection against splatters, spills, and stains - the pesky occupational hazards often encountered by surgeons, apothecaries, morticians, and other hands-on men of science in the 19th century. Featuring a classic "Howie" style, this unlined lab coat boasts a variety of functional details, including long sleeves, a full-length cut, an asymmetrical front panel, metal buttons, and a reinforced high-stand collar, all of which create a nearly impenetrable barrier for your safety. An adjustable strap in the back ensures a proper fit.

The lab coat is well-made using high-quality materials. The white, black, and brown versions are constructed from 100% cotton twill, while the red variant is a 50/50 cotton-polyester blend. Buttons and buttonholes have reinforced stitching for long-lasting durability. The back length, from shoulder hem to bottom hem, measures approximately 55 inches, and the collar stands 2.5 inches high. Imported and machine washable (cold water, line dry), this garment is meant for long-wearing fun and durable performing arts use, though it is not recommended nor specified for use as a safety garment.

Chest size is the key factor for proper fit. To measure, raise your arms slightly and take the measurement just under your arms. If your belly is larger than your chest, use the larger measurement. The size range includes small (up to 39" chest), medium/large (up to 45" chest), XL/2X (up to 51" chest), and 3X/4X (up to 58" chest).
