Tooled Leather Western Gun Belt and Holster for .38/.357 cal

From the brand Historical Emporium, we offer a Double Western Holster and Belt in the heavy-duty "Buscadero" style, which will keep you ready on the left and the right. Our premium quality leather western drop loop style belt includes two matching holsters, designed for standard frame single action revolvers with barrel lengths between 4 to 6 inches. The holsters can also accommodate Smith & Wesson double action revolvers with a frame size of K through N, as well as equivalent double action revolvers from other manufacturers.

The gun belt is stitched from two 1/8 inch thick leather sections, forming a full 1/4 inch finished belt that can withstand the rigors of daily use. The number of ammo loops may vary depending on the size of the belt. This south-of-the-border original was ubiquitous in the 1800's Southwest and is produced in Mexico by skilled craftsmen.

Pictured here with our Antique Gray Colt "Peacemaker" replicas, which are not included. The holster features a leather leg tie strap and an adjustable leather hammer loop to secure your revolver. The holsters are also adjustable for a good fit on your revolver.

When selecting a gunbelt size, it is important to follow the sizing instructions. If your waist measures under 34 inches, add two inches; if your waist measures between 34 - 48 inches, add four inches; and if your waist measures over 48 inches, add six inches. However, it is crucial to note that our gun belts are sized by hip size, not waist size. The size gun belt you need will be larger than your waist size, as shown. DO NOT just select your jeans size, or you will very likely end up with a belt that is too small.

Our gun belts are sized in inches, and each belt has a range of +/- two inches from the labeled size. It is VERY important that you measure yourself for a good fit. Measure your waist with a cloth tape measure and use the chart to determine your belt size, rounding up to the nearest even number.

To measure your revolver's barrel length, measure from the face of the cylinder all the way to the end of the barrel. Our holsters are offered in two lengths: Standard length holsters, which fit pistols with barrels from 4 - 6 inches in length, and long holsters, which fit pistols from 6 - 8 inches in length.

If you find that your pistol does not fit neatly into the holster, you can adjust the shape of the holster opening for a better fit. Built into the body of the holster, between the leather layers, there is an integrated steel frame which can be bent with pressure on the sides or ends. After bending, it should hold its new shape.
